Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer in Seattle to lead layout, design, and coordination of mechanical projects, delivering accurate designs and construction documents that meet project requirements and company standards.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design intent aligns with construction execution, while growing professionally and benefiting from a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, PE preferred.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, layout, and coordination of assigned projects.
• Produce fully coordinated mechanical designs and construction documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure design intent.
• Deliver high-quality, timely deliverables and support design development.
