Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in Seattle is seeking two Design Engineers to design, coordinate, and deliver mechanical system designs for commercial projects. You will support engineering documentation, design development, and quality control while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role offers ownership, growth opportunities, and more freedom to deliver high-quality outcomes with design coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is required.
• Experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce fully coordinated HVAC and plumbing system designs meeting project requirements, codes and quality standards.
• Coordinate design development and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design intent aligns with construction execution.
• Ensure designs meet codes and company standards.
