Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in the Tri-Cities area seeks a Lead Design Engineer to own the design and engineering of exciting HVAC and plumbing projects. You will act as project manager and lead designer, guiding projects from concept through completion while partnering with clients, teams, and engineers.

You’ll take ownership, solve complex engineering challenges, and grow responsibilities, with autonomy, resources, and support to do your best work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing HVAC and/or plumbing systems in mechanical contracting or engineering.
• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality HVAC and plumbing designs that are constructible, accurate, and cost-effective.
• Own the engineering budget with effective scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, project teams, and design partners across projects.
