Job summary

Superior Industries Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates in Prescott Valley, AZ.

The role involves designing and detailing custom conveying equipment, performing design analyses, and generating accurate drawings and BOMs for production. You will implement design changes, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to projects that support infrastructure applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with drafting standards, tolerances and dimensioning.
• Understanding of mechanical power relationships (HP, torque, speed).
• Knowledge of shaft, bearing, power transmission design and analysis.
• Familiarity with ASD steel design code.
• Training or experience using Autodesk or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates.
• Design and detail custom conveying equipment.
• Perform design analysis for components.
• Create drawings and bills of material with all production requirements.
• Evaluate and implement design changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
