Job summary

Superior Industries is hiring a Design Engineer in Columbus, NE to drive the design and development of equipment used in bulk material processing. You will coordinate product design, create detailed drawings, perform analyses, and prepare bills of material to ensure manufacturability and adherence to engineering standards.

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering is required, with hands-on SolidWorks experience and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills valued by our

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related education.
• Understanding of drafting standards, dimensions, tolerances, and power transmission concepts.
• Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product design and development for equipment used in processing bulk material and aggregates.
• Design and detail custom conveying equipment.
• Perform design analysis for components and create detail drawings.
• Complete bills of material (BOM) and evaluate design changes.
