Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET accredited program with at least four full years of satisfactory engineering experience, as required for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design detailed professional plans and specifications for reconstructing Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) with reclamation projects, meeting landowner needs.
• Design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Global Mapper and remote sensing data.
• Coordinate with AML team and landowners to outline a detailed scope of work for design and construction of AML reclamation projects.
• Direct and coordinate work of construction and survey crews, contractors, and other personnel to ensure the engineering design is met.
• Perform engineering and technical reviews of coal permit applications and actions as assigned.
