Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a qualified Foundry Engineer to lead tooling design and process improvements in our no-bake and cold box foundry environments. The role emphasizes RFQ tooling, pattern/tooling design, and casting issue resolution to improve quality and reduce lead times.

Requirements include 5 years of relevant experience and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of Creo, SolidCast, and CNC milling is highly valued, with opportunities for growth and relocation assistance as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Design foundry tooling in Creo software using standards in place and best practices for No-bake molding process with the objective to improve quality and reduce lead time on tooling construction

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• RFQ tooling, Design New Pattern Tooling, resolve casting issues, Re-gate, Simulate, all other tasks as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experiences
• Degree requirement: Associate or Bachelor.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Foundry Engineer Experience. (Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Foundry tooling Design Experience. (Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process)
• Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast
• Strong CAD skills (Creo prefers)
• Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding
• Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers)

DESIRED SKILLS:

• CNC milling knowledge
