Job summary

IKEA Gruppe is seeking a Retail Sales Planning keyholder in Newnan, GA to optimize the shopping experience and maximize retail sales. You will guide customers on layout, design, and selections for homes and businesses, and sell kitchen, bath, and storage solutions.

Your role includes leading a customer-focused sales team, handling store operations, and ensuring safety and compliance while driving repeat visits and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous retail selling experience.
• Experience in a consultative sales environment.
• Experience leading change initiatives and building new programs in a retail space environment.
• Experience in designing kitchen and bath preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on layout, color, style and accessories for homes/offices.
• Sell specialized home furnishing solutions (kitchens, bath, storage).
• Build relationships to identify customer needs and support before/during/after sales.
• Apply planning/design knowledge to ensure orders meet specs.
• Drive repeat store visits by maintaining customer-centric sales focus.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including opening/closing duties.
• Maintain a safe, secure work environment and handle incidents.
• Coordinate with Safety & Security on inventory safety and controls.
• Follow Commercial Review and ASR-related routines for role.
• Manage CMP goods flow and customer handouts with available systems.
