Design Within Reach, part of MillerKnoll, seeks a Sales Assistant in the United States to support daily store operations, assist with sales support, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising. It’s an entry‑level role designed for growth in a creative, design‑focused environment.

You’ll report to the Assistant Manager and work with our sales and visual teams, gaining hands-on experience while learning our products and design principles.

Qualifications

• Interest in design, retail, or customer service.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and navigating websites.
• Willingness to learn systems like Salesforce and design software (we’ll train you!).
• Able to lift over 40 lbs and move items as needed.

Responsabilités

• Support the team with order processing, delivery coordination, and client follow-up
• Help maintain the store’s visual presentation and product displays
• Assist with inventory of marketing materials, swatches, and office supplies
• Learn about our products and design principles through training and team meetings
• Communicate with clients via phone and email to provide helpful, friendly service
