Design Within Reach is seeking a Sales Assistant to support day-to-day store operations, assist clients, and gain hands-on experience in sales support, customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising. This entry-level role offers training, a chance to learn our products, and collaboration with the sales and visual teams.

You'll join a design-driven environment with opportunities to grow, including training to use Salesforce and design software.

Qualifications

• Interest in design, retail, or customer service.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with order processing, delivery coordination, and client follow-up.
• Help maintain the store's visual presentation and product displays.
• Assist with inventory of marketing materials, swatches, and office supplies.
• Learn about our products and design principles through training and team meetings.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email to provide helpful, friendly service.
