Job summary

Herman Miller and Design Within Reach, part of MillerKnoll, seek a Sales & Design Specialist to guide clients through a personalized journey, blending design sensibility with consultative selling to create spaces that support wellness and productivity.

You will report to the General Manager and help drive the store’s success through demonstrations, tailored solutions, and proactive lead follow-up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design tailored solutions that align with clients’ needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the A&D (Architecture & Design) community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
