Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of design/drafting experience.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction principles.
• GIS systems proficiency.
• Piping systems knowledge: materials, fittings, supports, and specifications.
• Industry standards and regulatory guidelines awareness.
• Experience leading design projects from concept through completion.
• Experience with regulatory documentation and permitting.
• Mentor and train junior designers and drafters.
• Team player with good communication.
• Valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Lead and mentor team; implement processes to enable achievement of team goals.
• Provide direction, feedback and monitor performance; coach as needed.
• Evaluate resources and adjust workflow to support the work.
• Maintain AutoCAD templates and libraries for consistency.
• Review project plans, specs to ensure accurate drafting.
• Use AutoCAD to produce 3D models for natural gas distribution systems.
• Prepare records of design changes and updates for documentation.
• Assist with site survey data for new installations and upgrades.
• Integrate GIS data to support site analysis and routing.
• Support emergency operations and after-hours tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with Field Eng, Design Eng, Field Ops, Construction to meet goals.
