Job summary

BOK Financial Corporation is seeking a Design Development Lead to guide the design development phase of branch and office projects, ensuring design intent is preserved through documentation and coordination with architects, engineers and consultants.

The role champions brand vision, regulatory compliance and place branding across environments, proactively resolving design challenges and driving standards adherence to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or related field.
• 5+ years of design development, project coordination, or architectural documentation experience.
• Experience in banking, retail, or commercial environments preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Steward and evolve the Kit of Parts (KOP) and visual standards to align with priorities, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Ensure brand consistency and design integrity across all environments by applying visual standards.
• Lead conceptual design efforts for new and legacy branches, including early test fits to evaluate feasibility and optimize layouts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and internal partners to tailor designs to site-specific conditions while maintaining brand and operational excellence.
• Proactively identify and resolve design challenges by delivering innovative technical solutions and guidance.
• Communicate updates to standards and advance modern design approaches that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
