Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Retail Designer to shape branch environments in Johnston, RI or Westwood, MA. You will lead design from concept through construction, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver brand-aligned spaces.

The role requires 5+ years in retail/interior design, strong CAD/creatives skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to multi-site projects with a customer-centric focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, environmental design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in retail or related design disciplines with construction documentation.
• Experience managing external consultants and multi-site programs, with code/ADA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for branch projects from programming to construction documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and consultants to align with brand standards and customer needs.
• Translate data and insights into compelling physical design solutions.
• Produce design docs ensuring code compliance, accuracy, and integrity.
• Manage construction documents and approve plans for multiple sites.
• Drive several complex projects simultaneously, on time and on budget.
• Champion ongoing improvement in design standards and customer experience.
