Position: Design Contractor

Reports To: Director of Product Design

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Type: Part-time, Contract (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Schedule:30 hours per week (4 days/week)

Compensation:$25.00 per hour & 30% Employee Discount Perk

Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-orientedDesign Contractorto support our Product Design and Development teams. This is a 7-month, part-time contract role designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves.

The ideal candidate has a background in design—whether graphic, product, or technical—and a deep interest in product development. This role requires organization, efficiency, and creativity. Bonus points if you're familiar with PLM systems and know your way around AI tools for creative support.

This is ahybrid position, with a consistent weekly schedule of3 in-office days (Seattle, WA)and1 remote work-from-home day, totaling30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, size, and send graphic and artwork submissions
• Create and manage packaging components including labels, hang tags, elastics, etc.
• Conduct trend and concept research to support new design direction
• Review lab dips, artwork, and submit approvals; track all updates in development charts
• Maintain and update seasonal Linesheets and Tech Packs
• Attend fit sessions; capture thorough notes and photos
• Organize and manage both digital and physical submits
• Handle croquis management: fill, resize, and export for wholesale use

Required Qualifications

• Background in graphic design, apparel/product design, or technical design
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communicator with good time management
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Available to work 3 in-office days + 1 remote day per week
