Opportunity Overview

SD Solutions is seeking a Master Scheduler to manage multiple and overall schedulers for a federal customer. This opportunity is fully remote. Note that this position is not currently open and its availability is contingent upon our receipt of a pending government contract.

Responsibilities Include

· Develop and Maintain Schedules: Utilize construction program and project schedule management experience with tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera (and/or other tools) to build, update, and maintain all project and program schedules in collaboration with the government's civilian and contract project managers.

· Create Integrated Schedules: Develop one or more integrated schedules as directed by the government, capturing all program and project schedules and ensuring all project and task interdependencies are accurately tracked.

· Evaluate Schedules: Review and assess schedules provided by the government, contractors, other government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure they are sound, meet project requirements, and align with program objectives.

· Monitor and Report Progress and Variance: Track project milestones, resources, and progress within schedules, reporting on performance, schedule and/or cost variances, and slippage in regular progress and variance reports, with frequency determined by the government.

· Support Project Management: Assist in managing project milestones and resources, reviewing project progress, measuring performance against plans, and forecasting progress for the upcoming month.

· Review and Recommend: Evaluate and provide recommendations on project documents, including requirements documents, schedules, project plans, budgets, progress reports, and variance reports, to ensure alignment with project goals.

Requirements Overview

The successful candidate will have:

· 10 or more years of related work experience

· Master's degree is required

· Expertise with Microsoft office suite of programs, primarily expert level expertise with the scheduling tool Microsoft Project as well as Primavera

· Possess a proven experience developing and maintaining working relationships with high level officials and technical experts

· Ability to work collaboratively with all team members

· Experience working in a fast-paced, analytical environment

· Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust clearance

Superstar Qualifications

· Current, active Public Trust background investigation/clearance, or at least have the ability to obtain and maintain such a clearance

· Experience working within the government industry

Employment Type

· Exempt, salaried

· Clearance requirement: Must be able to pass a minimum background investigation for a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance

· Must be a U.S. citizen

· Location: Fully remote

· Some light travel may be required
