Job summary

Floor & Decor in Chula Vista, CA is looking for a Design Supervisor to lead the in-store design team, train designers, and drive sales through comprehensive design services for residential and commercial projects.

You will manage appointments, advise on flooring solutions, and collaborate with store leadership to deliver high‑quality, timely design experiences while maintaining company standards.

Qualifications

• Design degree or equivalent experience required.
• Leadership or management experience 3–5 years.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic math and computer literacy.
• Knowledge of flooring products is a plus.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the design team with regular performance reviews.
• Greet customers and support design consultations.
• Manage master calendar and schedule design appointments.
• Provide product advice on tile, wood, stone and accessories.
• Collaborate with store leadership to drive sales and project delivery.
• Maintain design center standards and stay current with trends.
