Job summary

Ethan Allen Global, Inc. is seeking a Design Center Manager in Overland Park, KS to lead and grow the design team's performance and sales. The role focuses on coaching designers, developing business plans, and building customer relationships to expand market reach.

The position requires a strong background in residential interior design and proven supervisory experience, with a base salary of $65,000–$75,000 plus monthly incentives. Holidays, weekends, and evenings are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive relevant work experience and practical interior design experience.
• Proven sales background in residential interior design.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of the design center.
• Lead and coach design team associates to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Develop business plans with designers to increase market reach and revenue.
• Partner with associates to manage design projects, customer contacts and relationships, and design consultant effectiveness.
• Review P&L statements monthly with Market Design Leader and Market Operations Leader.
• Develop and participate in community programs to increase local exposure for Ethan Allen.
• Provide training sessions for the design center and participate in corporate training.
• Set monthly and quarterly goals with designers within the design center.
