Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Design-Build Design Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects in the East Region. You will drive innovative design-build solutions, manage multidisciplinary teams, and coordinate with contractors, clients, and partners to deliver on-time, within budget outcomes.

You will mentor staff, recruit resources for transportation design efforts, and uphold Jacobs' Quality Program while fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design-build projects in transportation.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with contractors and partners.
• Strong written communication and technical report skills.
• Willingness to pursue multi-state pursuits across project delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to pursue planning, consulting, design, and alternative delivery work.
• Serve as primary client contact to ensure expectations are met.
• Oversee delivery of large-scale Design-Build and related projects.
• Provide direction for design and project documentation with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Manage proposals, staffing, budgets, schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate construction-phase services and responses to RFIs and submittals.
• Enhance project quality through the Jacobs Quality Program and team mentorship.
