Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science (bachelor's or higher degree accepted).
• 5 years engineering, transportation engineering, or related engineering experience (experience can be full-time or proration).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a state vehicle.
• Licensed Professional Engineer and Safety Impact Certificate mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing active heavy-highway construction projects in the Fort Worth region.
• Interface with the public and governmental entities; manage consultant resources.
• Review construction schedules and provide oversight of construction work.
• Monitor contractors’ compliance with plans and specifications and support project delivery.
