Job summary

ARCO Design/Build invites students to join its Construction Design/Build Project Manager Intern/Co-op program in the United States. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, from concept through final delivery, while working alongside experienced professionals on a design/build team.

You will attend design meetings, assist with scheduling and submittals, and participate in training that supports professional growth within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• Driver’s License
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Previous Co-op or Intern experience in construction preferred, but not required
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project from concept to delivery.
• Attend design meetings with the owner and design team.
• Assist in scheduling and timelines for subcontractors.
• Prepare weekly reports and track action items.
• Shadow site visits and learn buyout, permitting, and submittals.
• Participate in training and development activities.
