Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager (DBM) Intern/Co-op. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working alongside experienced professionals who are invested in your growth.

As an intern/co-op, you’ll participate in concept to completion, learn estimating, scheduling, design meetings, and site visits, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
• Co-op or Intern experience in construction is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project from concept to final delivery.
• Attend design meetings with owner and design team, including engineers and architects.
• Assist in scheduling, reporting, and site visits to observe project progress.
• Learn estimating, takeoffs, and bid package preparation for subcontractors.
