Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager Intern/Co-op to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project—from concept to final delivery. You will attend design meetings with the owner and design team, assist with scheduling and takeoffs, and participate in progress reporting.

Shadow seasoned DBMs on site visits to observe leadership and decision-making in action. You’ll learn through training and mentorship, while supporting bidding, permitting, and subcontractor

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering program.
• Driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Previous Co-op or Intern experience in construction preferred.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in concept to completion project management tasks across the lifecycle.
• Attend design meetings with owner and design team.
• Support scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and trades.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and track action items.
• Shadow DBMs on site visits to observe leadership and project execution.
