ARCO Design/Build in Georgia is offering a Construction/Design-Build Project Manager Intern/Co-op position. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, from concept to final delivery, while working with experienced professionals focused on your growth.

You’ll participate in estimating, scheduling, design meetings, reporting, site visits, and business development activities, with mentorship and professional development throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered).
• Driver's License.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Previous Co-op or Intern experience in construction preferred, but not required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Concept to completion: learn how ARCO manages projects from concept to final delivery.
• Estimating and takeoffs: describe project proposals and assign dollar values.
• Scheduling: help create timelines for subcontractors and trades.
• Design meetings: attend meetings with owner and design team.
• Reporting: prepare weekly progress reports and track action items.
• Shadowing: join project calls and site meetings.
• Buyout: assist with bid instructions, schedules, and subcontracts.
• Permitting: complete and submit permit applications with necessary documents.
• Shop drawing & submittal review: route submittals and communicate approvals.
• Billing: learn about subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Job site visits: visit job sites to monitor progress.
• Training & learning: attend offsite trainings and learning sessions.
• Business development: gain exposure to client relationships and strategies.
