Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Project Manager Intern/Co-op (2027) in Greenville, SC. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project, working with experienced professionals who invest in your growth and development.

You’ll participate in concept-to-delivery processes, learn estimating, scheduling, design meetings, and reporting. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and a path toward future leadership in construction.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited civil, mechanical, architectural, construction management, building science, or construction engineering program.
• Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Previous co-op or intern experience in construction preferred but not required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Concept to Completion: learn how ARCO manages projects from concept to final delivery.
• Estimating and Takeoffs: describe project proposals and assign accurate dollar values.
• Scheduling: create timelines for subcontractors and trades activities.
• Design Meetings: attend meetings with owner and design team, including engineers and architects.
• Reporting: prepare weekly reports, document progress, and track action items.
