Job summary

ARCO in Pittsburgh is seeking a Design/Build Manager to drive project performance from day one. You will manage estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reporting, design coordination, and cost reporting while partnering with owners and the design team.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 1–5 years of design/build experience, and the ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines. Strong proficiency with MS Office and MS Project is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with minimum 3.2 GPA.
• 1-5 years of design/build experience.
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project: estimating, scheduling, QC, progress reports, billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposals.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Oversee buyout and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings and ensure quality.
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to meet client expectations.
• Commit to quality and implement improvements based on customer input.
