Job summary

ARCO, a family of construction companies, seeks a Design/Build Manager to lead project performance from day one in a fast-paced environment. You will drive estimating, scheduling, quality control and cost reporting while coordinating with owners and design teams to optimize scope and value.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of design/build GC experience in vertical commercial construction, plus proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• BS degree in construction, engineering, architecture or related field with GPA ≥3.0.
• 2–5 years in design/build construction with GC experience.
• Vertical commercial construction experience required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage project aspects including estimating, scheduling, quality control and reporting.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and design team.
• Lead meetings with owners and subcontractors; review scope and propose cost-saving ideas.
• Oversee buyout and subcontractor selection; conduct site meetings biweekly.
• Make timely decisions and coordinate multiple activities to achieve targets.
