Job summary

ARCO, a family of construction companies, seeks a Design/Build Manager to drive project performance from day one. You will manage estimating, scheduling, design review, cost reporting, and safety while coordinating with owners and the design team on concept drawings.

Responsibilities include buyout, subcontractor selection, frequent site meetings, and delivering high-quality results under deadlines. ARCO emphasizes integrity and customer focus across all teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing ground-up commercial projects.
• BS in Engineering/Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to quality and meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project (estimating, scheduling, QA, progress reports, progress billing, design review, cost reporting, safety, proposals).
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates.
• Collaborate with owners and design team on preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in owner meetings to discuss scope and cost reduction/value engineering.
• Oversee buyout and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job-site meetings and track progress.
• Make decisions under tight deadlines while coordinating multiple activities.
• Uphold company values and meet/exceed client expectations.
