Job summary

ARCO Companies in Detroit is seeking a Project Manager to oversee design/build projects from conception through completion. You will estimate, schedule, manage quality, generate progress reports and billing, and coordinate with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concepts.

You will oversee subcontractor buyout, conduct on-site meetings, and drive value engineering while maintaining safety and client satisfaction. A strong collaboration mindset and integrity are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 3–5 years' design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, and cost reporting.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and the design team.
• Review scope with the owner and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout and selection of subcontractors; lead on-site meetings bi-weekly.
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to meet client expectations.
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes and safety practices.
