Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Project Manager in the Bay Area to lead design/build projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own project performance, ensure client satisfaction, and drive value every step of the way.

BS in engineering or related field and 3+ years of construction management are required. You will coordinate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and help deliver high-quality, safe work.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction or related field.
• 3+ years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Collaborate with clients and the design team on preliminary drawings and budgets.
• Participate in proposals to review scope, reduce costs, and negotiate contracts and fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure materials and equipment for budget or schedule advantages.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent on subcontractor scopes, schedules and site logistics.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers and trades to solve constructability issues.
• Lead on-site weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings to review progress and address challenges.
• Track project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications and billing reports.
• Ensure construction is safe and enjoyable for clients and teams.
