Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers seeks a Design-Build Deputy Design Manager in Seattle or Tacoma, WA. You will lead on complex fish passage, roadway and transportation improvements on design-build projects and support design-build coordination with multiple disciplines.

You'll apply your design-build expertise while expanding project management and client service skills in a collaborative, supportive environment that values excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil design and management experience with a PE in WA or reciprocity
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager to coordinate with roadway, drainage, structural, traffic, public involvement and environmental disciplines
• Manage project scope, schedule, design and quality while ensuring cost control
• Review plans, technical specifications, contract documents and estimates
• Lead post-design construction tasks and manage design risk through construction
• Mentor team members and foster professional growth
• Engage with clients to deliver exceptional service and solutions
