Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish. You will manage estimating, scheduling, coordination with design teams, and ensure quality and profitability from day one.

The role targets students in Bachelors or Masters of Engineering programs, open to full-time opportunities post-graduation, with a baseline GPA of 3.0. Internship experience is a plus and diversity is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s of engineering program or related field.
• Open to fulltime opportunity post grad.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in owner meetings to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and provide value engineering.
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Commit to quality by evaluating processes.
• Incorporate customer input to improve and meet expectations.
• Demonstrate integrity and support for the company and colleagues.
