Job summary

Jobot, a design-build contractor in Madison, WI, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support project coordination from start to finish. You will work with senior project managers and field staff to ensure quality, safety, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture and has 1–3 years in construction, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project assistant or coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
• Familiarity with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, with the ability to identify problems and suggest solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Work closely with senior project managers and field staff to ensure alignment with quality, safety, and budget requirements.
