Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Manager- Design Automation to lead the design automation group in Germantown, TN/Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on automating elevator component design, vetting ideas, and coordinating with manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and services.

You will manage employees, develop individual development plans, and drive KPIs while advancing product roadmaps and technical standards in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a technical design, documentation, or automation role.
• 5+ years managing people or building cohesive teams.
• Strong aptitude for programming and design principles.
• Ability to communicate department and product vision and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design automation group and drive CTO volume to manufacturing.
• Vet innovation ideas against strategy, roadmap, and resources.
• Introduce engineering tool enhancements to IT/partners.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and resource estimates for projects.
• Define system parameters, applications, and rules for product engineering.
• Provide automation support for non-standard and standard designs.
• Manage department standards and processes for design automation.
