Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking a Manager- Design Automation in Germantown, TN to lead the design automation group, drive CTO volume to manufacturing, and shape tool development. You will mentor engineers, define roadmaps, and collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to implement innovative automation solutions.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources while advancing product design standards and KPI tracking, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent
• 5+ years in technical design, documentation, or automation
• 5+ years experience managing people or teams
• Strong programming aptitude and design principles
• Ability to communicate department vision and roadmaps
• Experience with PMP processes is highly desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for engineering and marketing/sales stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the design automation group and drive CTO volume to manufacturing
• Vet innovations and align ideas with product roadmaps and resources
• Propose engineering tool enhancements and coordinate with IT/development
• Assist PM in budgets, schedules, and resource estimates
• Define system parameters, product applications, and design rules
• Hire and develop the design automation team and manage KPI implementation
• Oversee design automation tool adoption across global teams and train staff
