Job summary

Floor Coverings International is expanding and seeking Design Associates nationwide with a focus on the Rockford, IL area. You will visit clients at their homes to discuss flooring projects and operate our Sales System on tablet and laptop.

We offer paid training, a full-time role, and a company car for work appointments. You should have previous flooring sales experience and be prepared to work some evenings and weekends as we grow.

• Previous flooring sales experience required.
• Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Go out to client’s homes and meet with them regarding their flooring project.
• Follow our Sales System using our tablet, laptop, and software (non-negotiable).
• Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of flooring service requests.
• Coordinate installation time and communication schedule with Office Manager.
• Communicate customer needs/expectations to Install Manager to make jobs go smoothly.
• Ability to maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business.
