Job summary

Floor Coverings International of Rockford and Lansing seeks hard-working Design Associates to join our team. You will visit clients at their homes, discuss flooring options, and guide them through the design and purchase process.

You must have previous flooring sales experience, be self-motivated, organized, and able to work evenings and weekends. Training is provided, and a company car is available for work appointments.

Qualifications

• Previous flooring sales required.
• Comfort with tablets, laptops and sales software.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Go out to client’s homes and meet with them regarding their flooring project.
• Follow our Sales System using our tablet, laptop, and software (non-negotiable)
• Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of flooring service requests
• Coordinate installation time and communication schedule with Office Manager
• Communicate customer needs/expectations to Install Manager to make jobs go smoothly
• Ability to maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business
