Job summary

Floor Coverings International of Rockford and Lansing is seeking Design Associates for our shop-at-home model. You will visit client homes to discuss flooring projects, use our Sales System on tablet and laptop, and serve as the main contact for service requests.

We offer paid training, a company car for appointments, and a six-figure earnings potential with a base salary in the $80k–$100k+ range, reflecting performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Prior flooring sales experience is required.
• Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Go out to client’s homes and meet with them regarding their flooring project
• Follow our Sales System using our tablet, laptop, and software (non-negotiable)
• Act as the single point of contact to the customer for all types of flooring service requests
• Coordinate installation time and communication schedule with Office Manager
• Communicate customer needs/expectations to Install Manager to make jobs go smoothly
• Ability to maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business
