Zusammenfassung

DÔEN is seeking a Design Assistant at our Van Nuys, CA HQ. This non-exempt, hybrid role supports the Design Director and team with inspiration, research, and presentation preparation.

You will assist in seasonal concepts, fabrics, trims, colors, and cross-functional documentation, helping to name styles and coordinate with Technical Design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in apparel or fashion (2-4 year program).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to product detail.
• Sketching skills required.
• Pattern/Technical Design knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with the Design Director and team on inspiration and design tasks.
• Assist in researching seasonal concepts, fabrics, trims and color.
• Assist in creating and preparing weekly/seasonal design presentations.
• Manage line-sheets and cross-functional documents between Design and Development.
• Name styles and facilitate Pass-Offs to Technical Design.
• Create flats or construction detail sketches as needed.
