Job summary

DÔEN is seeking a dynamic Technical Design Manager & Patternmaker to join our Los Angeles team onsite. This role leads pattern and fit development from development through production, collaborating with Design, Product Development, and Production.

You will oversee a small TD team, mentor designers, and ensure final patterns meet design vision, quality standards, and calendar deadlines. Strong 3D apparel software experience and overseas vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Patternmaking, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Patternmaker with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute block and development patterns as needed.
• Oversee a small team of Technical Designers.
• Amend and correct factory production patterns to meet design intent.
• Communicate fit and pattern corrections with vendors.
• Collaborate with vendors on 3D development, fit evaluations, and approvals.
• Build initial tech packs and instruct vendors on proto samples.
• Lead fittings with cross‑functional partners to meet fit standards.
• Manage multiple seasons and calendars to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and support Associate and Assistant Technical Designers.
