Job summary

DÔEN is seeking a dynamic Technical Design Manager & Patternmaker to lead pattern development from concept to production in Los Angeles. This on-site role partners with Design, Product Development, and Production to ensure the brand’s aesthetic is realized across categories.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years as a Patternmaker with team leadership, deep garment construction knowledge, and proficiency in 2D/3D patterning software. Hybrid cadence may apply within an in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Patternmaking or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years as a Patternmaker with leadership or management experience.
• Ability to mentor TDs and patternmakers across teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute block and development patterns as needed.
• Lead a small team of Technical Designers and manage workload.
• Amend factory patterns to meet design intent and production needs.
• Communicate fit and pattern corrections with vendors to resolve issues.
• Collaborate on 3D development, fit evaluations and approvals.
• Build tech packs and guide vendors to align samples with design.
