Jacobs is hiring a Design Architect for the Advanced Facilities group, based in Columbus, OH, with a hybrid work policy. You will design state-of-the-art mission-critical facilities, mentor junior staff, and coordinate cross-discipline efforts across design, construction drawings, and specifications.

You’ll lead teams on technical design, participate in design reviews, and help advance workflows and tools while applying knowledge of codes and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Professional Architecture license in US.
• At least 7 years of architecture experience.
• Experience with building codes and specifications.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite for construction work.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of designers responsible for a design area across technical design, construction drawings, specs and model creation.
• Attend project meetings and actively help the team resolve concerns across disciplines.
• Participate in internal, cross-discipline, and external quality reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior architects; mentor and coordinate small to medium teams.
• Develop workflows, systems, and tools; embrace emerging technologies.
