Jacobs in the Advanced Facilities group seeks a Design Architect to design mission-critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, life sciences buildings and other advanced facilities. Based in Columbus, OH, you’ll support business development, engage with clients, and mentor junior designers while coordinating design and construction activities.

You’ll lead teams on technical design, construction drawings, specifications, and model creation, attend meetings, and help ensure quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Professional Architecture license in the US.
• At least 7 years of architecture experience.
• Experience with building codes and specifications.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite for construction work.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and analysis for architectural projects.
• Plan and conduct work with sound judgement and criteria adaptation.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate teams.
• Lead a team of designers on technical design, drawings, specs, and models.
• Attend project meetings and help resolve cross-disciplinary concerns.
• Participate in internal and external project quality reviews.
• Deliver creative, value-driven solutions for the team.
