Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect to join the Advanced Facilities group, shaping state‑of‑the‑art mission critical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, life sciences facilities and other advanced buildings. You’ll lead conceptual, layout, and detailed design tasks, mentor junior team members, and coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program.
• Professional Architecture license in the U.S.
• At least 3 to 7 years of architecture experience.
• Experience with building codes and specifications.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional architectural design and analysis under supervision.
• Lead a team of designers on layout, technical design, and drawings.
• Attend project meetings and help resolve cross-discipline concerns.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Champion internal quality reviews and improve workflows.
