Responsibilities

• Lead design and release activities across the product lifecycle.
• Create and manage drawings, CAD models, and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and programs to meet design intent.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, and DVP&R processes.
• Manage BOM creation, part numbering, and change processes.
• Identify and resolve design issues via root cause analysis.
• Ensure conformance to standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and release activities for components and systems throughout the product development lifecycle
• Create, manage, and release engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, suppliers, and program teams to ensure design intent is met
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, DVP&R, and other engineering validation processes
• Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, part numbering, and change management processes
• Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective action
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal engineering specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in design and release or product engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred
