Primoris Renewable Energy is hiring a Laborer to assist on construction sites with manual tasks, supporting skilled trades and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

The role involves cleanup, material handling, digging, surface prep, scaffolding, and flagging traffic, all while following safety rules and wearing PPE. Outdoor work in varied weather is expected; physical stamina and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately and safely.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup and debris removal on construction sites.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks or other conveyances.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., pipefitters, electricians, carpenters) by carrying materials, holding tools, and providing general support.
• Prepare and clean surfaces for painting, sealing, or other finishes.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools under supervision, such as shovels, rakes, brooms, tampers, and grinders.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic control signs, and other temporary structures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Flag traffic or direct vehicles as needed to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.
