Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Des Moines is seeking a General Manager to lead a landmark redevelopment project. You will serve as the strategic leader and main liaison between building ownership and on-site operations, translating investment goals into actionable property plans that drive financial performance and tenant satisfaction.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years in commercial real estate or property management, with proven P&L leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership in commercial real estate or property management.
• Proven track record of managing P&L and achieving financial targets.
• Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and business development.
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with real estate management software and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and business development to drive revenue and market expansion.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital plans with monthly reporting.
• Analyze financial performance and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee tenant relations and implement tenant satisfaction programs.
• Manage bids for third-party services ensuring compliance with standards.
• Foster team development and support career growth.
• Handle duties per Property Management Agreements and local ordinances.
