Midwest Veterinary Supply is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Des Moines, IA call center. This position is 100% onsite in Des Moines, IA and focuses on providing clinics with information on promotions, pricing, product updates, and rapid resolution of inquiries.

Responsibilities include taking orders, outbound calls to solicit orders, and resolving issues such as credits, returns, and special orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in veterinary industry-related position or customer service position required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Take orders for products over the phone from veterinary customers, field sales representatives and manufacturer representatives and enter them into the system; cross-selling and upselling.
• Make outbound calls to clinics to solicit orders and provide information on new products and promotions; cross-sell and upsell.
• Resolve requests including credits, returns, price quotes, special orders, address changes and sales tallies.
