Anne Arundel Dermatology seeks a Laboratory Manager to lead the dermatopathology laboratory's daily operations. The role includes supervising personnel, coordinating with physicians and regional leaders, and ensuring high quality pathology services for providers and patients.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, OSHA), drive process improvements, and support staffing and resource planning in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a medical laboratory science, biology, or related field is preferred.
• Two or more years of leadership or supervisory experience in a pathology, histology, dermatopathology, or clinical lab.
• ASCP HT/HTL certification and familiarity with CLIA and laboratory regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dermatopathology laboratory.
• Supervise laboratory personnel and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, OSHA) and quality standards.
• Partner with physicians and regional leadership to address operational needs.
• Support continuous process improvement and staffing/resource planning.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate vendor relationships.
