Job summary

A respected dermatology practice in Smithfield, NC is seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner). In this role, you will evaluate and treat various dermatologic conditions, work closely with a supervising dermatologist, and be part of a supportive and collaborative team. A passion for dermatology and a minimum of 3 years of related experience are required for this position. The clinic offers a competitive salary and no weekend work.

Job Description

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions in patients of all ages
• Perform and assist with dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and cosmetic treatments based on training and interest
• Collaborate closely with the supervising dermatologist and medical team to ensure high standards of patient care
• Educate patients on skin health, treatment plans, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient encounters in compliance with medical and legal requirements

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina
• 3+ years experience in dermatology private practice required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine passion for dermatology and patient care

Additional Information

• Full-time (4 or more ) or part-time (3 or less) days per week schedule available
• No weekends, No in-patient requirements
